Junior Squad

Description Squad Goals
Gaining experience in competitions. Learning how to train and how to race.

 

Swimmers in Junior Squad should be aiming to

attending 2 sessions a week in order to obtain the

necessary level of skill and fitness to progress at the

required level.

Equipment ● Mesh swimming bag
● Pull Buoy
● Flippers
● Kickboard
● Drink Bottle
● Goggles x 2 

All swimmers must have their own training gear which

they must bring to every session.

Training Requirements Minimum 1 swim session per week
Recommended 2-3 swim sessions per week
Competition Requirements ● 3 GSI meets and Gippsland Championships
and/or
● 3 SGSA meets
