2017 Country Short Course Success for SGB
2017 Victorian Country Short Course Championships
19th – 20th August @ Wangaratta
Wangaratta was an exciting place to be over the weekend for our SGB swimmers. It was a great club environment to be in, led by our 18 swimmers in what was an all-round effort across the 2 days of racing. It was this environment and energy created by our swimmers that transferred into great results in the pool, bringing the club to a 6th place overall finish, our best result at a Victorian Country Championship.

9th August 2017 Cadbury Fundraiser – Get on board
Dear Families,
We’re about to kick off a fundraising drive to raise money for SGB.
It would be great if you could help. The good news is that this fundraiser is super simple…
and delicious.
Cadbury Fundraiser: we’re selling chocolate frog varieties
Every box of frogs we sell will raise $20.00. So, we’re asking all members of our club to sell at least one box for us. Feel free to grab another box if you’ve got lots of hungry buyers lined up!
Please collect your box of frogs from the pool during the week starting 4th August.
Tips for selling your treats
– Each item sells for $1.00. Each box is worth $50.
– Sell to family members, colleagues, friends or neighbours
Other useful information
Once you have sold the chocolates, to make it easier for the Club Committee to track who has returned their money, could you please directly deposit your total $ to the club account – BSB No 063553 Account no 10122858.
Please use your surname and choc’s as a reference ie smith choc
If you’re finding it hard to sell your box of treats, let Nerine Courtney or Leah Dal Pozzo know – other people may be able to help. Or, if you can’t help in this fundraising drive, please let us know as soon as possible.
Thank you for participating in this year’s chocolate drive to help raise much needed funds.
Thanks for your support,
Nerine Courtney
