South Gippsland Bass Swimming Club hosts a number of short course (25m) meets during the winter swim season at Sth Gippsland Splash, Leongatha. Spectators are very welcome to come watch and support their swimmers, please BYO chair as there is very limited seating at this venue. Each meet has a BBQ with many great options available and Sth Gippsland Splash has the coffee covered.
South Gippsland Bass Swimming Club as part of the Gippsland Swimming Region also hosts 2 GSI short course swim meets that are only open to the Gippsland Region Clubs. Look out for these on the GSI webpage.
SGB Encouragement Meet – 18th May 2025.
A new addition to the SGB swimming calendar for 2025. This meet is for junior and multi class swimmers, who are both Swimming Victoria Registered and non-registered swimmers wanting to practice their race skills in a safe and fun environment.
Swimming Victoria registered swimmers enter via Swim Central. Non-registered entries are via the manual form link and are to be emailed back to entries@sgbswimclub.com.au with payment to the SGB bank account. The first day of the SGB double header meet weekend. The Saturday session know as the clubs ‘Splash & Dash’ meet and includes an elimination race for cash, with 3 cash prizes up for grabs. See meet flyer more details.
